1964 1/2 Ford Mustang (1972 - 1973)

6 cyl, 3 speed

My first car, bought for $400, sold for $400. Worth a bit more these days...

1968 Mercury Cyclone (1973 - 1975)

390 ci V8, auto

A very peppy car in its day. Used to run mid-14's on street tires at the drag strip. One of the few cars I'd like to own again.

1961 Ford Fairlane Sport Coupe (1975)

260 & later 289 ci V8, 3 speed

This car had a lot of potential but the timing was wrong... Abandoned when I left for the Army.

1970 Sunbeam Arrow (1975 - 1978)

4 cyl, 4 speed

My "Europe" car - I drove this car throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France. It was so ugly, my landlord used to make me park it out of sight of the road.

1969 Ford Mustang (1978 - 1980)

302 ci V8, auto

One of the few cars I wish I still had. The '69 Fastback was, IMHO the best looking Mustang ever.

1980 Subaru GL5 (1980 - 1984)

1.6L 4 cyl, 5 speed

The only "brand-new" car I ever bought. My first front-wheel drive car and first Japanese car also.

1974 Plymouth Fury III (1981)

318 ci V8, auto

This car came with my first wife. We ditched it ASAP!

1978 Yamaha 650 Special (1981 - 1983)

650 cc upright twin

My first motorcycle. Damned chains! Also a bit underpowered for my tastes.

1980 Honda CB900 Custom (1983 - 1990)

900 cc inline 4 cyl

Air shocks & dual-range subtransmission, shaft drive and plenty of horsepower. Much more like it!

1975 Chevrolet (1983)

350 ci V8, auto

Inherited from my mother-in-law. Again, quickly ditched.

1968 Buick (1983 - 1985)

350 ci V8, auto

Acquired as partial trade for the Yamaha. Used as a "fishing" car and sold to become a demolition derby car (it lost).

1970 Mercury Montery (1984 - 1986)

390 ci V8, auto

Originally my grandmother's car.

1978 Ford Van (1987 - 1989)

6 cyl, auto

Just your basic cargo van.

1970 Oldsmobile 442 (1989 - 1990)

455 (+.60 over) ci V8, auto

Small car, big engine - works every time. Very, very fast - mid 13's at the the drag strip on street tires.

1984 BMW 318i (1990 - 1992)

1.8L 4 cyl, auto

Most expensive to repair car I've ever owned! Very comfortable, though and a fine car to drive.

1986 Honda Prelude (1990 - 1993)

2.0L 4 cyl, 5 speed

A very nice little car, highly recommended. Had 150,000 miles on it and still going strong last time I saw it.

1990 Plymouth Voyager Van (1992 - 1994)

V6, auto

Pretty boring...

 1982 Ford Van (1993 - present)

351(M) ci V8, auto

2 gas tanks, 2 air conditioners, 12 MPG. Rolled over 200,000 miles in July, 97 and going strong.

 1991 Toyota MR2 (1995 - 1998)

2.2L 4 cyl, 5 speed

A very cool car. Mid-engine, T-tops, air bag, 4 wheel antilock disk brakes, great sound system with CD & subwoofer, power everything. Only 2 seats, though...

 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (1998 - 1999)

V6

Oops! This accident came about 150 miles after we installed a brand-new engine. Bummer...

 1986 Cadillac Cimmaron (1999 - 1999)

V6
