The Mk IV Macquarium

Designed & First Built in March, 1997

The Mk III tank was good, but overly complicated. For the Mk IV tank, I replaced the sharp bend in front with a smooth slope and eliminated the small bend at the top-rear.

These changes resulted in simplified construction, better lighting angle, increased capacity (now close to 4 gallons), and room behind the tank for the original logic board.

This really, really is (probably) my final design for the "classic" Macquariums.
